Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the SpyDocs website, cloud dashboard, edge software, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by OneBase Technologies (OPC) PVT. LTD. (“OneBase”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SpyDocs adds AI-assisted monitoring to compatible IP CCTV cameras via on-site edge processing and cloud-backed search, alerts, and optional ANPR. Features, camera limits, retention, and pricing depend on your agreement or active plan. We may improve, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind your organisation (society, business, or household account) to these Terms. You are responsible for credentials, RTSP URLs, and user access you grant inside your dashboard. Notify us promptly of unauthorised access.

3. Customer responsibilities

• Obtain lawful rights to monitor areas with CCTV under applicable Indian law and local rules
• Display required notices and follow society or workplace policies for residents, staff, and visitors
• Provide accurate network information and maintain cameras, power, and internet at your site
• Configure alert rules responsibly to avoid nuisance notifications
• Keep edge devices physically secure on your premises

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to breach other networks, reverse engineer our software except where law permits, resell access without agreement, upload unlawful content, or use SpyDocs to harass individuals. We may suspend access for violations that risk the platform or third parties.

5. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle CCTV event data and account information. You retain ownership of footage captured from your cameras. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and display that data to provide the Service.

6. Fees and trials

Paid plans, hardware, and storage are billed as quoted in your order or statement of work. Trials and demos may be limited in duration, channels, or features. Taxes apply as required by law.

7. Availability and support

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Outages may occur due to maintenance, cloud provider incidents, or connectivity at your site. Support channels and response expectations are described during onboarding.

8. Disclaimers

The Service assists human review and alerting; it is not a guarantee of crime prevention or perfect detection. AI may produce false positives or missed events. You are responsible for operational security decisions, including staffing at gates and escalation procedures.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONEBASE AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR INR 50,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, UNLESS MANDATORY LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify OneBase against claims arising from your unlawful use of CCTV, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
